I don't doubt this will get through the portal, but I really don't think it deserves it. Don't get me wrong, it's well made and all, but the content... It's just so disapointing.

I have nothing against short toons; I do however have something agaisnt UNFINISHED toons. I understand it took you a while to do, but there is really nothing more frustrating than watching the first few seconds of what could be a decent Flash, only for it to end abruptly.

You didn't need to submit at this stage, there was nothing in it as a cartoon. Do a bit more, submit it all again as one file, then delete this one. That I would look forward to.

Other than that, I didn't like the kid's checkered shoes ;D

Kinda cool

Lots of squares + lots of movieclips + lots of tweens + lots of alpha blending + bitmaps + masking = bad framerate.

It seems to be the style of many clocks to use as many cool looking gfx techniques as possible at the same time. It does look kinda cool, but for most people it won't run at the desired framerate.

There are many music videos of that song on NG, and I don't doubt there will be more.

Still a decent Flash though.

Surely just go through the movie on Flash and get rid of any unwanted actionscript?

Is it bad code in a movie clip?

I suggest fixing the problem anyway, can't be too hard to do.

Probably is a bad code, I did do some investigation around the glitch before I submitted it here, but I couldn't find the problem. Sorry to all disappointed viewers. :(

Quite good

It's well put together, the cinematics and animation are good, and it's kinda fun/funny.

Work on keeping the proportions of the stickmen consistent while they move, and keeping the drawings presentable. What some people do is animate the stickmen, and then go over it all on a different layer, but spending more time on the aesthetics, possibly drawing full body characters.

Keep practicing!
